I’m David Antunes — a Staff Full-Stack Engineer and Team Lead with 15 years of experience building software that ships and stays running.

I help engineering teams design, build, and scale reliable systems that deliver great experiences for users. I care about shipping fast without sacrificing stability or long-term maintainability.

What I do

I’ve built distributed backends and modern frontends that perform at scale. I’ve led teams through major platform rebuilds and process changes, keeping communication clear and technical quality high.

At Genesis Cloud, I’ve been a founding engineer, helping shape the platform from day one — the identity and billing systems, event-driven APIs, a microservices architecture, and the customer-facing interfaces.
